Every year city departments are required to present a performance report to the Mayor, City Council and citizen stakeholders (Service Level Report). Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the departments discuss their mission, financial inputs, workload outputs, measures of efficiency & effectiveness (including comparisons to other cities & industry norms), results and their issues and concerns for the future. |

MONTHLY CITY CASH REPORT
The City Finance Department presents a Monthly Cash Report to the Council on the third Thursday of the month, reporting
the cash situation as of the end of prior month. Thus, during the October Council meeting the cash
situation is reported as of the end of September and so on.
What is included. The cash report displays all the money that the city has. A household
analogy might be list of what you hold in all of your checking and savings accounts. There are things
other than cash that are important, like debt and non-financial assets. Those are reported in the City's annual
audited financial report. Still, cash is very important and the Council monitors it monthly. Past city cash reports are made available below.
