Every year city departments are required to present a performance report to the Mayor, City Council and citizen stakeholders (Service Level Report). Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the departments discuss their mission, financial inputs, workload outputs, measures of efficiency & effectiveness (including comparisons to other cities & industry norms), results and their issues and concerns for the future. |

PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD
COMMITTEE DESCRIPTION

This board was reinstated with the passage of Resolution 1998-7. The purpose of the board is to coordinate the activities of the other Parks & Recreation committees, to provide an overview of the various committees, and to solicit suggestions and recommendations regarding priorities and allocation of City resources for Parks & Recreation programs and facilities.The Board consists of no more than eleven members with representation from the following three advisory boards: the Friends of the Cemetery Committee, the Fort Hall Replica Commission, and the Golf Advisory Board. Insofar as possible, representation will be sought from Pocatello Youth Forum, the Ross Park Zoological Society and School District #25. If they do not provide a nominee, these three positions will be filled by resident citizens at-large. Members serve two-year terms.
