VOLUNTEERS WELCOME FOR TRAIL MAINTENANCE DAY
Work to be Done on Cross Country Ski Trail System

October 25, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the City of Pocatello and the Mink Creek Nordic Center are hosting a trail maintenance day for the cross country ski trail system. Everyone is invited to help.

Volunteers are asked to dress in work clothes and bring work gloves, as well as drinking water to keep healthy and hydrated. Additional useful supplies to bring are yard tools. Lunch will be provided, and discounted season passes will be available to those who help.

All volunteers must meet with organizers at 11:00 a.m. at the Nordic Center in order to get their assignment and to sign a liability waiver. Every volunteer must sign a liability waiver before they will be permitted to start work.

A second maintenance day has been scheduled for November 8, 2008. For more information about either trail maintenance day, contact Lance Clark, Outdoor Recreation Programmer, at 234-6237.
