POCATELLO MAYOR AND COUNCIL PASS RESOLUTION SUPPORTING C-B-O
City Believes “Yes” Vote in Best Interests of Citizens

At their meeting last week, the Pocatello Mayor and City Council approved Resolution #2008-31 in support of Proposition One, County Hospital Question.

The Mayor and Council Members reviewed the elements of the proposal made by Bannock County and the Governing Board of Portneuf Medical Center to partner with Legacy Hospital Partners in a Community Benefit Organization (C-B-O). They felt the C-B-O was a positive step forward for healthcare in our community and in the best interests of the citizens of Pocatello. As a result, the Mayor and City Council passed the resolution in support of a new hospital and voting “yes” on the C-B-O.
