POCATELLO POLICE ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL PROMOTIONS

New Lieutenants, Sergeants and Corporals Announced

Earlier today Police Chief JR Miller announced additional promotions within the Pocatello Police Department. These individuals will join newly promoted Captain Terry Felsman in leading the department under the direction of Chief Miller.

Effective October 25, 2008, the following members of the department assume new positions. Sergeants Paul Manning and Steve Stone will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Corporals Nathan Diekemper, Ian Nelson and Jim McCoy will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Finally, Officers 1st Class Justin Buck, Brian McClure and Reid Morrell will be promoted to the rank of Corporal.

A promotional ceremony is scheduled for October 22 at 9:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, 911 North 7th Avenue. The public and media are invited to attend to help the Police Department and the City of Pocatello recognize these outstanding individuals.
