KID'S FLAG FOOTBALL REGISTRATION FOR

GRADES 3 AND 4 BEGINS

Online Registration is Now Available. Office Registration Will Not Begin at the Community Recreation Center Until July 28, 2008

The Pocatello Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for Kid’s Flag Football for 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls (as of the start of school in Fall 2008). Registration is now available online at http://activityreg.com/clientmainpage.asp?cid=POKYPR.

Office registration will not begin until Monday, July 28, 2008, on a Monday through Friday basis at the Community Recreation Center, 144 Wilson Avenue. Registration fees are $23.00 per player. Players will be assigned to teams by schools and geographical areas of the city if at all possible.

The last day of regular registration will be Friday, August 22, 2008. A $5.00 late fee may be assessed beginning Monday, August 25, 2008. Team practices will be allowed to start on Monday, August 25, 2008. The season is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Games are played Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning at 5:40 p.m. at the Hawthorne Park football fields. Starting dates are subject to change based on registration numbers.

Adult volunteer coaches are needed to fill vacant positions from the previous year. If you have any questions concerning the program or are interested in becoming a volunteer coach for the upcoming Flag Football season, please contact the Pocatello Parks and Recreation Office at
