MOUNTAIN VIEW & RESTLAWN CEMETERIES
The City of Pocatello maintains two Cemeteries, Mountain View and Restlawn, to provide a resting place for our departed loved ones. The cemeteries serve as memorials that stand as a source of consolation and inspriation to the living and provide gardens where the memory of beautiful lives will be kept beautiful always.
Mountain View cemetery is 110 years old and is the final resting place of over 20,000 of the area's residents with plots dating to the 1800's. Mountain View is also home of the Brady Chapel a state historic register memorial built to honor the late Governor and U.S. Senator of Idaho,
James H. Brady.
The Restlawn cemetery was aquired in Fall of 2001.
The location currently has twelve developed acres with another tweleve to be developed in the future. All requests and services go should be directed to the main Mountain View Cemetery office.
