ANNUAL ANIMAL SHELTER COMMUNITY EVENTS
The Pocatello Animal Shelter hosts two fundraisers each year. The "Cat-Nip Tea and Alley Cat Social" in the spring and the "Run with the Big Dogs" event in the fall.
Both events help raise funds for a much needed new animal shelter. The current shelter is over 30 years old and is in need of some costly repairs. Instead of adding another band-aid we want to raise and invest money into a facility with long term value. A facility Pocatello residents can be proud of and a safe haven for the animals in need of help during a crisis. If you can help with the fundraising by either making a donation or volunteering your time at one of our events, please contact the Animal Shelter Director Mary Remer. The animals in our community can really use your help!
